Important Links to Voting Resources:
Open Space and Wildfire Risk
The City of Boise owns and manages 15 reserves totaling 5,000 acres. Boise has faced serious threats from wildfire in the last 10 years and we must mitigate wildfire risk to ensure the safety of our community.
Clean Water and the Boise River
The Boise River is a vital natural asset to the Treasure Valley, providing clean water, supporting local agriculture, and year-round recreation activities. From cooling our summers to connecting our communities, the river is at the heart of what makes Boise special.
Pathways and Connection
Pathways are paved, multi-use trails designed for both walking and biking. Local examples include the Greenbelt and the Federal Way Bike Path. The City of Boise has created a goal to ensure every Boiseans is less than a 10-minute walk from a park, increasing accessibility to open spaces for all Boiseans.
